Why I’m Not Writing Year In Review Posts?

In 2019 I started to notice that the amount of time I was spending on keeping track of all my activities was a lot. I had stopped enjoying that. All of that time could have been spent doing more work or staying away from it.

And you know how December and January are filled with vacations? You spend an entire year working hard and then you relax at the end of it? Well, not me. I would spend the entire December and then ten or so days in January writing my year in review posts.

This was unhealthy and last year after publishing my year in review I felt burnt out. I had missed out on vacations and had to go back to work.

So, I’m putting my foot down. I won’t be writing these years in reviews anymore. At least for a foreseeable future. If you’d like to know what I am up to, the best way to do that is to follow my Twitter account. I use that as a mini-blog.
